There are features on Ashide - A Second Nature, a collection of high quality, impressionistic photographs, including innovative panoramas, by Carol Ballenger and related haiku by John, themed around Japanese style gardens in England and on his CD of 'Poemusic' "The Uses Of Poetry" with singer/songwriter Hilary Harwood and composer/arranger Alan Danson.
Poetry To Go, the online shop selling the CD and John's books and offering you the opportunity to commission John to write a poem for your special event,
'Emcs, is John’s e-publishing site specially for never before published poets of his 'English nu-romantic' genre. Submit a poem and it will be considered for publication on the site and you will get feedback on your work.
Why redshoes2050? Well, the red shoes are the iconic, original 1960's red patent winkle pickers that John always wears for live performances – red also just happens to be the colours of John’s beloved Boro – Middlesbrough Football Club. You can find links to John’s football writing on the site. 2050 is the name of John and Hilary's band that perform on the CD.
